We had a long and quiet dinner on Saturday night. {Patty, I had a chocolate martini!} Stayed in a local hotel for the night and then spent the day hanging out and running errands.
We took in a local museum, did some new couch shopping, and then when we arrived home I enjoyed a birthday cupcake celebration with my favorite peeps!
Our times alone are so few and far between ~ we really appreciated these moments together. . .

Happy Birthday Jen! I'm so glad you had a nice weekend with your husband! It's always so nice to get away and it happens rarely for me too. When my husband and I are able to spend quality time together (thanks to my in-laws) I savor every moment because I never know when the next time will be :)
