As I slowly phased out of the blogging just for fun, into the blogging a bit more seriously category, I realized I needed blog planner to go along with my changing needs. I could no longer just keep things in my head. Writing down blog ideas as I thought of them and then keeping a running list of ideas? A game changer.
Even though I write most of my blog posts in a spiral notebook with a pen {oh yes I do!}, I needed a calendar to keep up with planning posts and doing reviews. Joining iHomeschool Network gave me the final nudge to handle my blogging in a bit more professional manner. I really wasn’t blogging on the fly anymore.
2013 was my first year using a real blog planner. Yep, I had a whole calendar of just blogging stuff. No more getting mixed in with family events or homeschool planning and prep. From time to time I would look back through my planner and see how much I had accomplished and see how my little old site had grown.
A Blog Planner to Fit My Needs
2014 is no different, in fact I probably have even more to keep track of this year. If you have ever visited Tina’s Dynamic Homeschool, you know she has fantastic printables. Truly works of art! I love all the color. When she mentioned she was coming out with a blog planner I was thrilled.
The blog planner is huge with over 360 pages. You can choose different colors, whatever works best for you and your needs. Also, if you provide Tina with an e-mail address she will keep you in the loop if there are changes. The blogging world changes quickly, she will keep you updated with forms as necessary. A nice perk!
I have been using the planner for a little over a month now and it’s working well for me. I like having space at the beginning of each month to jot down ideas, think about holidays, and write down due dates. At a glance I can see what I have going on for the month.
The two page spread to jot down specific blog posts for specific days is so handy. There is plenty of space to write, no tiny little boxes to try and fit an entire blog post, as well as additional room for more notes.
There is also a spot at the end of each month for jotting down a few blog stats. Very handy when keeping track of goals for the year! There is a full size space for keeping track of all blog statistics for social media sites as well in the back. There is also space for brainstorming ideas and topics at the end of each month, along with “note this” pages that can be used for the same purpose.
Tina provides great directions for printing and organizing the planner. It was easy to get going, it just took some time to print out all of the forms and store them in my handy dandy little notebook. Time well spent for an organized blogging year!

Absolutely! Grow, grow, grow! And get 2 eproducts finished. We are hoping to get enough income to reduce student loan debt by half this year.

My 2014 goal is to plan ahead more (so this planner would be a great start!) instead of being so “fly by the seat of my pants.” Thanks for a chance to win.

My plan is to keep growing my baby blog and keep my posts prepared a month in advance. So far, so good, but all my planning is pretty basic right now. I’d love a planner to pull it all together. Thanks for hosting!
