I finished up the socks for my daughter. She is happy with the way they turned out and it was an easy pattern for my first time. I decided to take a break from the dpn's for a bit and work on a couple of dish clothes, I am using Meredith's pattern found here. Then I am hoping to get a pair of socks started for myself.
I am listening to One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp as well as reading Mansfield Park.
Happy Knitting and do see what others are creating at this week's yarn along!

thanks for stopping by on my blog :)
dishcloths sound good- so relaxing to knit something quick and useful and nice :) - I should make some too :)
I was thinking about dishcloths the other day too. Simple and useful would be nice!!

Cute socks!
Mansfield Park is my daughter's favorite Jane Austin book- I love it too, but Persuation is my favorite. :)
You are tempting me to try my hand at knitting. Maybe this summer. Grandmas should know how to knit- right?
Love the socks!

They look great! And it's my daughter's favourite colors :-)
Cute socks. I'll have to look back to see if you linked the pattern. I've never tried socks yet...my kids are pretty abusive to socks. ;-)
That would be Persuasion by the way! :)
