In the cross met death and life. The victorious Lord of life leads us in triumph through the gates of holiness into the eternal kingdom of our God.
Behold, I make all things new, says the Lord. Alleluia!
We went to mass at 8:00am this morning. Jacob was an altar server and was in charge of the incense, he was so excited. We came home and had family over for brunch.
The Pina Colada Cake was delicious!
What's a feast day without desserts?
the sacrifice jar is overflowing with jelly beans,
now we are enjoying a quiet lull before we head to more festivities and more food!
The boys had their clothes changed before I even got out of the van from church, so I only caught the girls in their Easter dresses.
We're enjoying a fairly warm spring day, spent with family and our Risen Lord!
Hope your day is spent with the ones you love too.
Happy Easter!

Ha! We almost always go to 8:00am mass so they are used to the routine. I'm a little like a drill instructor from 7:00-8:00 to keep everyone moving ;) Hope you have a great week too!

Happy Easter to you are your family!! Doing the incense is a big deal around here too! How fun to get to do it for Easter service especially. I love the picture of you and your hubby! The overflowing jelly beans are wonderful- what a great illustration of their sacrifices!
