This week we finished reading Nate Saint: On a Wing and a Prayer. The kids enjoyed the story, Jacob seemed to most of all.
Jacob and I are still reading The Bronze Bow, I’m loving how it ties in with our study of Ancient Rome.
I still trying to get through Kristin Lavransdatter. My goal is to have it finished by the end of May – this is not a light read!
Learning Through the Week:

We finished up our Ancient Rome studies. The kids did a notebooking page on a story that they remembered most. Jacob wrote about Constantinople, Jonah drew picture of Romulus and Remus and how they started Rome, and Sarah wrote about Julius Caesar.
Out and About:

It felt great to be outside! When I got home I remarked to my husband that it’s getting so much easier to go on field trips. The last time we were at this particular place I remember being paranoid that someone was going to fall into the water. Progress!
The last photo on the bottom right was Jonah goofing around when I was trying to get everyone lined up for a photo. Well, at least there is progress in some areas!!
Blog Happenings:
It was travel week here on the blog! I have gotten a few requests lately to share how we travel as a family, so I thought I would also include some of the places we like to visit!
