As with my other monthly challenges, I believe making small changes over time add up to big results! Â Same goes for adding exercise into the day. Â A little bit of effort makes a big difference. Â Forget the all or nothing attitude, as in if I don’t run a marathon each day I may as well just sit on the couch and eat potato chips! Not true.
Any exercise is better than sitting on the couch!
Why Exercise?
The weather is warming up for most of the Northern states so there really is no excuse for not getting out and getting it done. Â A 30 minute walk, bike ride, run, swimming, tennis, exercise video, whatever best fits into your schedule and lifestyle. Â The point is just DO something.
When is the best time to workout? Â It’s a proven fact that people who get up and exercise in the morning are more likely to stick with it over the long haul as well as make healthier food choices during the day. Â However, the best time to exercise is when you are most likely to get it done.
{I’d love to know where this photo came from to give proper credit! It’s awesome!}
Exercise is about as close as we can come to a “magic pill”. Â I have written about this topic quite a bit because I think it’s so important!

We started back with our swimming at the YMCA — it feels SO good. We spent an hour swimming laps and diving today 🙂
Thanks for always being such a great encourager, Jen.
