Same Yarn, Different Scarf

Sarah, finished scarf and new glasses :)

I started a scarf for Anna with the same yarn.  Again it's a K1, P1, but this time I cast on 17 stitches.  I have made pretty good progress in the last few days, I am hoping to have it done in time for Anna to wear to church this weekend.

Still plugging along with the same three books as last week: The Secret Diary of Elisabeth Leseur, The Happiness Project, and Digestive Wellness for Children.

We have also had a Netflix 80's flashback, we've watched Footloose, Say Anything, and next up, one of my all-time favorites, Sixteen Candles.

I am joining the Yarn Along again this week.

Her scarf is beautiful. I can knit and pearl and that is about all I can do! I have been teaching myself through youtube videos and dvds from the library. I am going to check out my yarn bin to see if I have enough for this scarf. My girls would love it!

I love the different colors in the scarf...I'm always cautious of varigated yarns depending on the project I'm making, but the scarf turned out beautiful!
80's movies are my favorite. When I was in high school, I would usually host an 80's movie night every month!
God Bless.

The scarf looks great! As do the glasses.

My 20 year old step daughter recently discover all those 80 movies, boy did we have a great time watching them.

Blessings, Elizabeth

totally off topic, but a quote in Footloose was one square on the path to my conversion to Catholocism. Scarey, huh?

Love the yarn and scarf, they look so soft and comfy.

Sarah looks so stylish with her beautiful scarf and cute glasses! I'm impressed that you can find the time to knit and read. I can't knit or haven't tried really and I can read, but have a hard time fitting it in without falling asleep! Thanks for linking up this post to our No Ordinary Blog Hop! :)

Really pretty scarf. I have made so many through the years, but they never looked that good. Now give me a crochet needle, and I can go to town. lol Thank you for sharing your beautiful project, Jen, and I hope you get Anna's done. Thank you also for linking to No Ordinary Blog Hop.
