I reviewed the list in my Christmas notebook of things I would like to have completed by Thanksgiving, which is November 25th.
❧ Christmas cards ready and waiting to be mailed
❧ St. Nicholas gifts ready (we do our stockings on the Feast of St. Nicholas)
❧ December birthday gifts purchased
❧ Have all Christmas gift items purchased, so we can focus on our homemade things in December
❧ Have Advent craft supplies purchased (Advent starts November 28th!)
❧ I am going to use many of the Advent resources found here at Real Learning
❧ Check gift wrap supplies
❧ Go over Christmas budget (this should probably be at the top of the list!)
Lots to do and our remaining weekends before Christmas are already filling up. Happy planning :)

Last year, I was so organized, I had the most peace-filled advent ever. When you showed us your notebook/organizer...I didn't think it could get any better! I've put "journal" on my shopping/grocery list for today.
I even looked at Christmas cards yesterday to start prepping...but those were all in Spanish! Ha! Still cannot figure that out! And they were all religious - at TARGET! (Double the scratch of my head :)
I was just getting my Christmas notebook together. I have never done this before but I think I got the link from your blog and now I am so excited. I am even inserting the adoption trip tasks I need to do since that will be falling right in the middle of Christmas planning. We are definitely keeping it simple this year!
Thanks for all of the resources you share - I am learning so much!!!
That's it... you have inspired me to make a to-do list! Until now, I've just put, make a to-do list on my to-do list. : )
Amazing how quickly it all go's by!Enjoy the process. I just love this time of year. I think I also need to make a list. thanks.Blessings,Marla Grace
Patty-Are you sure you didn't get to the Target in Mexico on accident? You are in TX after all! LOL!
Feliz Navidad!
Kimberlie-great idea to include your adoption prep with your Christmas prep! Thanks for the sweet card today :)
SMM-I am glad you found it helpful, it's helps me to be more accountable once I post it on my blog!
Marla-I really love this time of year too!
Thanks for reading!
Thank for the post! I need to get moving. I have my flylady holiday binder on my shelf and have yet to open it up. I need the inspiration.
I am doing this tonight! And I vow to buy my cards on Friday and start them this weekend. (My mom has always started her cards on All Saints Day... lovely habit.)
